We collect Qur’an recitations from across the world—different ages and accents—to build a large language model (LLM). This enables an AI engine to recognise Qur’anic words and support correct vocalisation and tajweed rules. By Allah’s permission, this will help deploy AI to serve Qur’an education globally. Why do we need your participation?

Building a trustworthy Qur’anic AI system requires a massive amount of real, diverse recitations reflecting different ages, accents, and genders. We aim to gather the widest range of voices—from beginners who may stumble to professional reciters. We want recordings as they naturally are, even with mistakes, so the AI can learn pronunciation differences across countries and among those learning Arabic for the first time. Everyone is invited—even if you make recitation mistakes—your contribution helps the AI recognise common pronunciation errors, by Allah’s permission.

However, it is important that your nationality, language, local accent, age, and gender are accurate, because they are the foundation for useful insights for the project.
