Tafsir of verse (15) from Surah Yunus
﴿ وَإِذا تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم ءاياتُنا بَيِّنٰتٍ ۙ قالَ الَّذينَ لا يَرجونَ لِقاءَنَا ائتِ بِقُرءانٍ غَيرِ هٰذا أَو بَدِّلهُ ۚ قُل ما يَكونُ لى أَن أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلقائِ نَفسى ۖ إِن أَتَّبِعُ إِلّا ما يوحىٰ إِلَىَّ ۖ إِنّى أَخافُ إِن عَصَيتُ رَبّى عَذابَ يَومٍ عَظيمٍ ﴾
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Quran other than this or change it." Say, [O Muhammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revea
Tafsir of verse (16) from Surah Yunus
﴿ قُل لَو شاءَ اللَّهُ ما تَلَوتُهُ عَلَيكُم وَلا أَدرىٰكُم بِهِ ۖ فَقَد لَبِثتُ فيكُم عُمُرًا مِن قَبلِهِ ۚ أَفَلا تَعقِلونَ ﴾
Say, "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?"
Tafsir of verse (17) from Surah Yunus
﴿ فَمَن أَظلَمُ مِمَّنِ افتَرىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَو كَذَّبَ بِـٔايٰتِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لا يُفلِحُ المُجرِمونَ ﴾
So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed.
Tafsir of verse (18) from Surah Yunus
﴿ وَيَعبُدونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ ما لا يَضُرُّهُم وَلا يَنفَعُهُم وَيَقولونَ هٰؤُلاءِ شُفَعٰؤُنا عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ قُل أَتُنَبِّـٔونَ اللَّهَ بِما لا يَعلَمُ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلا فِى الأَرضِ ۚ سُبحٰنَهُ وَتَعٰلىٰ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ ﴾
And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above
Tafsir of verse (19) from Surah Yunus
﴿ وَما كانَ النّاسُ إِلّا أُمَّةً وٰحِدَةً فَاختَلَفوا ۚ وَلَولا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَت مِن رَبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم فيما فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ ﴾
And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them [immediately] concerning that over which they differ.
Tafsir of verse (20) from Surah Yunus
﴿ وَيَقولونَ لَولا أُنزِلَ عَلَيهِ ءايَةٌ مِن رَبِّهِ ۖ فَقُل إِنَّمَا الغَيبُ لِلَّهِ فَانتَظِروا إِنّى مَعَكُم مِنَ المُنتَظِرينَ ﴾
And they say, "Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?" So say, "The unseen is only for Allah [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
