Tafsir of verse (1) from Surah Yusuf
﴿ الر ۚ تِلكَ ءايٰتُ الكِتٰبِ المُبينِ ﴾
Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book.
Tafsir of verse (2) from Surah Yusuf
﴿ إِنّا أَنزَلنٰهُ قُرءٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُم تَعقِلونَ ﴾
Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran that you might understand.
Tafsir of verse (3) from Surah Yusuf
﴿ نَحنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيكَ أَحسَنَ القَصَصِ بِما أَوحَينا إِلَيكَ هٰذَا القُرءانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبلِهِ لَمِنَ الغٰفِلينَ ﴾
We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Quran although you were, before it, among the unaware.
Tafsir of verse (4) from Surah Yusuf
﴿ إِذ قالَ يوسُفُ لِأَبيهِ يٰأَبَتِ إِنّى رَأَيتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوكَبًا وَالشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ رَأَيتُهُم لى سٰجِدينَ ﴾
[Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father, "O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me."
