Tafsir of verse (38) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ قُلنَا اهبِطوا مِنها جَميعًا ۖ فَإِمّا يَأتِيَنَّكُم مِنّى هُدًى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُداىَ فَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ ﴾
We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Tafsir of verse (39) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا وَكَذَّبوا بِـٔايٰتِنا أُولٰئِكَ أَصحٰبُ النّارِ ۖ هُم فيها خٰلِدونَ ﴾
And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs – those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."
Tafsir of verse (40) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ يٰبَنى إِسرٰءيلَ اذكُروا نِعمَتِىَ الَّتى أَنعَمتُ عَلَيكُم وَأَوفوا بِعَهدى أوفِ بِعَهدِكُم وَإِيّٰىَ فَارهَبونِ ﴾
O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.
Tafsir of verse (41) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ وَءامِنوا بِما أَنزَلتُ مُصَدِّقًا لِما مَعَكُم وَلا تَكونوا أَوَّلَ كافِرٍ بِهِ ۖ وَلا تَشتَروا بِـٔايٰتى ثَمَنًا قَليلًا وَإِيّٰىَ فَاتَّقونِ ﴾
And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.
Tafsir of verse (42) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ وَلا تَلبِسُوا الحَقَّ بِالبٰطِلِ وَتَكتُمُوا الحَقَّ وَأَنتُم تَعلَمونَ ﴾
And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].
Tafsir of verse (43) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ وَأَقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتُوا الزَّكوٰةَ وَاركَعوا مَعَ الرّٰكِعينَ ﴾
And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].
Tafsir of verse (44) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ ۞ أَتَأمُرونَ النّاسَ بِالبِرِّ وَتَنسَونَ أَنفُسَكُم وَأَنتُم تَتلونَ الكِتٰبَ ۚ أَفَلا تَعقِلونَ ﴾
Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?
Tafsir of verse (45) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ وَاستَعينوا بِالصَّبرِ وَالصَّلوٰةِ ۚ وَإِنَّها لَكَبيرَةٌ إِلّا عَلَى الخٰشِعينَ ﴾
And seek help through patience and prayer; and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]
Tafsir of verse (46) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ الَّذينَ يَظُنّونَ أَنَّهُم مُلٰقوا رَبِّهِم وَأَنَّهُم إِلَيهِ رٰجِعونَ ﴾
Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.
Tafsir of verse (47) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ يٰبَنى إِسرٰءيلَ اذكُروا نِعمَتِىَ الَّتى أَنعَمتُ عَلَيكُم وَأَنّى فَضَّلتُكُم عَلَى العٰلَمينَ ﴾
O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds [i.e., peoples].
Tafsir of verse (48) from Surah Al-Baqara
﴿ وَاتَّقوا يَومًا لا تَجزى نَفسٌ عَن نَفسٍ شَيـًٔا وَلا يُقبَلُ مِنها شَفٰعَةٌ وَلا يُؤخَذُ مِنها عَدلٌ وَلا هُم يُنصَرونَ ﴾
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.
