Tafsir of verse (21) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ ۞ وَقالَ الَّذينَ لا يَرجونَ لِقاءَنا لَولا أُنزِلَ عَلَينَا المَلٰئِكَةُ أَو نَرىٰ رَبَّنا ۗ لَقَدِ استَكبَروا فى أَنفُسِهِم وَعَتَو عُتُوًّا كَبيرًا ﴾
And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.
Tafsir of verse (22) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ يَومَ يَرَونَ المَلٰئِكَةَ لا بُشرىٰ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُجرِمينَ وَيَقولونَ حِجرًا مَحجورًا ﴾
The day they see the angels – no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible."
Tafsir of verse (23) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَقَدِمنا إِلىٰ ما عَمِلوا مِن عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلنٰهُ هَباءً مَنثورًا ﴾
And We will approach [i.e., regard] what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
Tafsir of verse (24) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ يَومَئِذٍ خَيرٌ مُستَقَرًّا وَأَحسَنُ مَقيلًا ﴾
The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place.
Tafsir of verse (25) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَيَومَ تَشَقَّقُ السَّماءُ بِالغَمٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ المَلٰئِكَةُ تَنزيلًا ﴾
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.
Tafsir of verse (26) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ المُلكُ يَومَئِذٍ الحَقُّ لِلرَّحمٰنِ ۚ وَكانَ يَومًا عَلَى الكٰفِرينَ عَسيرًا ﴾
True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day.
Tafsir of verse (27) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَيَومَ يَعَضُّ الظّالِمُ عَلىٰ يَدَيهِ يَقولُ يٰلَيتَنِى اتَّخَذتُ مَعَ الرَّسولِ سَبيلًا ﴾
And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.
Tafsir of verse (28) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ يٰوَيلَتىٰ لَيتَنى لَم أَتَّخِذ فُلانًا خَليلًا ﴾
Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.
Tafsir of verse (29) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ لَقَد أَضَلَّنى عَنِ الذِّكرِ بَعدَ إِذ جاءَنى ۗ وَكانَ الشَّيطٰنُ لِلإِنسٰنِ خَذولًا ﴾
He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."
Tafsir of verse (30) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَقالَ الرَّسولُ يٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَومِى اتَّخَذوا هٰذَا القُرءانَ مَهجورًا ﴾
And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Quran as [a thing] abandoned."
Tafsir of verse (31) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلنا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِنَ المُجرِمينَ ۗ وَكَفىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هادِيًا وَنَصيرًا ﴾
And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.
Tafsir of verse (32) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لَولا نُزِّلَ عَلَيهِ القُرءانُ جُملَةً وٰحِدَةً ۚ كَذٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلنٰهُ تَرتيلًا ﴾
And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Quran not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.
