Tafsir of verse (7) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ ﴾
By the heaven containing pathways.
Tafsir of verse (8) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍۢ مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ ﴾
Indeed, you are in differing speech.
Tafsir of verse (9) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ ﴾
Deluded away from it [i.e., the Quran] is he who is deluded.
Tafsir of verse (10) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ ﴾
Destroyed are the misinformers.
Tafsir of verse (11) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ سَاهُونَ ﴾
Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.
Tafsir of verse (12) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴾
They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"
Tafsir of verse (13) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ ﴾
[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire.
Tafsir of verse (14) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ ﴾
[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."
Tafsir of verse (15) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ ﴾
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs.
Tafsir of verse (16) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ ﴾
Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.
Tafsir of verse (17) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ ﴾
They used to sleep but little of the night.
Tafsir of verse (18) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ﴾
And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness.
Tafsir of verse (19) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ ﴾
And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.
Tafsir of verse (20) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ ﴾
And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith].
Tafsir of verse (21) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ ﴾
And in yourselves. Then will you not see?
Tafsir of verse (22) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ ﴾
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.
Tafsir of verse (23) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّۭ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ ﴾
Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth – just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.
Tafsir of verse (24) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ ﴾
Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham?
Tafsir of verse (25) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًۭا ۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْمٌۭ مُّنكَرُونَ ﴾
When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace; [you are] a people unknown."
Tafsir of verse (26) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍۢ سَمِينٍۢ ﴾
Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf.
Tafsir of verse (27) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴾
And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"
Tafsir of verse (28) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍۢ ﴾
And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.
Tafsir of verse (29) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍۢ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌۭ ﴾
And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"
Tafsir of verse (30) from Surah Adh-Dhariyat
﴿ قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴾
They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."
