Tafsir of verse (1) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ وَٱلطُّورِ ﴾
By the mount.
Tafsir of verse (2) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ وَكِتَٰبٍۢ مَّسْطُورٍۢ ﴾
And [by] a Book inscribed.
Tafsir of verse (3) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ فِى رَقٍّۢ مَّنشُورٍۢ ﴾
In parchment spread open.
Tafsir of verse (4) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ ﴾
And [by] the frequented House.
Tafsir of verse (5) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ ﴾
And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high.
Tafsir of verse (6) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ ﴾
And [by] the sea set on fire.
Tafsir of verse (7) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ﴾
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
Tafsir of verse (8) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٍۢ ﴾
Of it there is no preventer.
Tafsir of verse (9) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ يَوْمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوْرًۭا ﴾
On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion.
Tafsir of verse (10) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ وَتَسِيرُ ٱلْجِبَالُ سَيْرًۭا ﴾
And the mountains will pass on, departing.
Tafsir of verse (11) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ فَوَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴾
Then woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Tafsir of verse (12) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍۢ يَلْعَبُونَ ﴾
Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves.
Tafsir of verse (13) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا ﴾
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say].
Tafsir of verse (14) from Surah At-Tur
﴿ هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴾
"This is the Fire which you used to deny.
