Tafsir of verse (25) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ ما لَكُم لا تَناصَرونَ ﴾

[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?"

Tafsir of verse (26) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ بَل هُمُ اليَومَ مُستَسلِمونَ ﴾

But they, that Day, are in surrender.

Tafsir of verse (27) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ وَأَقبَلَ بَعضُهُم عَلىٰ بَعضٍ يَتَساءَلونَ ﴾

And they will approach one another asking [i.e., blaming] each other.

Tafsir of verse (28) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ قالوا إِنَّكُم كُنتُم تَأتونَنا عَنِ اليَمينِ ﴾

They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."

Tafsir of verse (29) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ قالوا بَل لَم تَكونوا مُؤمِنينَ ﴾

They [i.e., the oppressors] will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers.

﴿ وَما كانَ لَنا عَلَيكُم مِن سُلطٰنٍ ۖ بَل كُنتُم قَومًا طٰغينَ ﴾

And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.

Tafsir of verse (31) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ فَحَقَّ عَلَينا قَولُ رَبِّنا ۖ إِنّا لَذائِقونَ ﴾

So the word [i.e., decree] of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].

Tafsir of verse (32) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ فَأَغوَينٰكُم إِنّا كُنّا غٰوينَ ﴾

And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."

Tafsir of verse (33) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ فَإِنَّهُم يَومَئِذٍ فِى العَذابِ مُشتَرِكونَ ﴾

So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment.

Tafsir of verse (34) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ إِنّا كَذٰلِكَ نَفعَلُ بِالمُجرِمينَ ﴾

Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals.

Tafsir of verse (35) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ إِنَّهُم كانوا إِذا قيلَ لَهُم لا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَستَكبِرونَ ﴾

Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant.

Tafsir of verse (36) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ وَيَقولونَ أَئِنّا لَتارِكوا ءالِهَتِنا لِشاعِرٍ مَجنونٍ ﴾

And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?"

Tafsir of verse (37) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ بَل جاءَ بِالحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ المُرسَلينَ ﴾

Rather, he [i.e., the Prophet] has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers.

Tafsir of verse (38) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ إِنَّكُم لَذائِقُوا العَذابِ الأَليمِ ﴾

Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment.

Tafsir of verse (39) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ وَما تُجزَونَ إِلّا ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ ﴾

And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.

Tafsir of verse (40) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ إِلّا عِبادَ اللَّهِ المُخلَصينَ ﴾

But not the chosen servants of Allah.

Tafsir of verse (41) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ أُولٰئِكَ لَهُم رِزقٌ مَعلومٌ ﴾

Those will have a provision determined.

Tafsir of verse (42) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ فَوٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُكرَمونَ ﴾

Fruits; and they will be honored.

Tafsir of verse (43) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ فى جَنّٰتِ النَّعيمِ ﴾

In gardens of pleasure.

Tafsir of verse (44) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ عَلىٰ سُرُرٍ مُتَقٰبِلينَ ﴾

On thrones facing one another.

Tafsir of verse (45) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ يُطافُ عَلَيهِم بِكَأسٍ مِن مَعينٍ ﴾

There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring.

Tafsir of verse (46) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ بَيضاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِلشّٰرِبينَ ﴾

White and delicious to the drinkers.

Tafsir of verse (47) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ لا فيها غَولٌ وَلا هُم عَنها يُنزَفونَ ﴾

No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.

Tafsir of verse (48) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ وَعِندَهُم قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرفِ عينٌ ﴾

And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes.

Tafsir of verse (49) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيضٌ مَكنونٌ ﴾

As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected.

Tafsir of verse (50) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ فَأَقبَلَ بَعضُهُم عَلىٰ بَعضٍ يَتَساءَلونَ ﴾

And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.

Tafsir of verse (51) from Surah As-Saffat

﴿ قالَ قائِلٌ مِنهُم إِنّى كانَ لى قَرينٌ ﴾

A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth].
