Tafsir of verse (127) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ فَكَذَّبوهُ فَإِنَّهُم لَمُحضَرونَ ﴾
And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment].
Tafsir of verse (128) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ إِلّا عِبادَ اللَّهِ المُخلَصينَ ﴾
Except the chosen servants of Allah.
Tafsir of verse (129) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَتَرَكنا عَلَيهِ فِى الءاخِرينَ ﴾
And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations.
Tafsir of verse (130) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ سَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ إِل ياسينَ ﴾
"Peace upon Elias."
Tafsir of verse (131) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ إِنّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجزِى المُحسِنينَ ﴾
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Tafsir of verse (132) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ إِنَّهُ مِن عِبادِنَا المُؤمِنينَ ﴾
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
Tafsir of verse (133) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَإِنَّ لوطًا لَمِنَ المُرسَلينَ ﴾
And indeed, Lot was among the messengers.
Tafsir of verse (134) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ إِذ نَجَّينٰهُ وَأَهلَهُ أَجمَعينَ ﴾
[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all.
Tafsir of verse (135) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ إِلّا عَجوزًا فِى الغٰبِرينَ ﴾
Except an old woman [i.e., his wife] among those who remained [with the evildoers].
Tafsir of verse (136) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ ثُمَّ دَمَّرنَا الءاخَرينَ ﴾
Then We destroyed the others.
Tafsir of verse (137) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَإِنَّكُم لَتَمُرّونَ عَلَيهِم مُصبِحينَ ﴾
And indeed, you pass by them in the morning.
Tafsir of verse (138) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَبِالَّيلِ ۗ أَفَلا تَعقِلونَ ﴾
And at night. Then will you not use reason?
Tafsir of verse (139) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَإِنَّ يونُسَ لَمِنَ المُرسَلينَ ﴾
And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers.
Tafsir of verse (140) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ إِذ أَبَقَ إِلَى الفُلكِ المَشحونِ ﴾
[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship.
Tafsir of verse (141) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ فَساهَمَ فَكانَ مِنَ المُدحَضينَ ﴾
And he drew lots and was among the losers.
Tafsir of verse (142) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ فَالتَقَمَهُ الحوتُ وَهُوَ مُليمٌ ﴾
Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy.
Tafsir of verse (143) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ فَلَولا أَنَّهُ كانَ مِنَ المُسَبِّحينَ ﴾
And had he not been of those who exalt Allah.
Tafsir of verse (144) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ لَلَبِثَ فى بَطنِهِ إِلىٰ يَومِ يُبعَثونَ ﴾
He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
Tafsir of verse (145) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ ۞ فَنَبَذنٰهُ بِالعَراءِ وَهُوَ سَقيمٌ ﴾
But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill.
Tafsir of verse (146) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَأَنبَتنا عَلَيهِ شَجَرَةً مِن يَقطينٍ ﴾
And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine.
Tafsir of verse (147) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَأَرسَلنٰهُ إِلىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلفٍ أَو يَزيدونَ ﴾
And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.
Tafsir of verse (148) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ فَـٔامَنوا فَمَتَّعنٰهُم إِلىٰ حينٍ ﴾
And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time.
Tafsir of verse (149) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ فَاستَفتِهِم أَلِرَبِّكَ البَناتُ وَلَهُمُ البَنونَ ﴾
So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
Tafsir of verse (150) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ أَم خَلَقنَا المَلٰئِكَةَ إِنٰثًا وَهُم شٰهِدونَ ﴾
Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?"
Tafsir of verse (151) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ أَلا إِنَّهُم مِن إِفكِهِم لَيَقولونَ ﴾
Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say.
Tafsir of verse (152) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُم لَكٰذِبونَ ﴾
"Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
Tafsir of verse (153) from Surah As-Saffat
﴿ أَصطَفَى البَناتِ عَلَى البَنينَ ﴾
Has He chosen daughters over sons?
